EVENTS

Our Organic Brookfield Vineyard is Open for Self Guided Vineyard Tours, See How Cover Crops Can Energize Soil Leading To Better Grapes and Better Wine! Take Some Pictures! It's a Short Walk from Winery area. The 2020 Harvest is here , We are working our way through it, unusually dry weather has helped greatly to drive sugar levels high and the absence of rain/hurricanes has prevented any harvest time issues. 2020 will not be remembered very fondly but it has produced some high sugar levels.

Gift Cards: Available for purchasing in any denomination.

Fine Print: Wine flights now available. Yes, bring non-alcoholic beverages if you like and all outside food is allowed. Pet-friendly, children-friendly. Organic Future:

Our Brookfield vineyard is under transition to organic, this year we are experimenting with permaculture techniques and alternate cover crops that are both decorative and edible! Tours are given of the organic vineyard. Bring your curiosity and questions about organic farming and how this can apply to your own lawn and gardens. Mark is accredited by NOFA, the North East Organic Farming Association and is an Organic Lawncare Accredited Professional.

Our Estate Grape Varieties We Grow:

White: Seyval Blanc, Vidal Blanc, LaCross, Niagara, Elvira, and Catawba

Reds: St. Croix, Frontenac, Leon Millot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot

Our Affiliate Vineyards: These we manage or tenant farm, some we use the juice from as well. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Geneva Red, Osceola Muscat, and Reliant table grape, and some others in smaller quantities that would not have juice we can use. Some sites are organic and some are traditional. There are five geographic locations. Only Brookfield is open to the public. Some of the sites are for hobby, some are commercial, but all have unique growing characteristics that benefit particular varieties. Right Plant, Right Place. The more varieties you grow, the more your experience grows. We've been growing since 1978.
